Stylianee Parascha is a storyteller, designer, and activist. Always fond of the environment, she eventually became passionate about beautiful/meaningful design and envisaged fashion as a ‘boundary object’ that can unite totally unrelated groups of people and has been using it as such ever since. Upcycling has also been focal in her work: she keeps it in her toolbox in order to educate and inspire. How? By organizing/animating public and corporate Upcycling workshops and showcasing her designs in runways and exhibitions.
Stylianee organized her first Fashion Revolution week event in her motherland, Thessaloniki back in 2016 and then brought the movement to Luxembourg. This is where she collaborated with local actors and NGOs to launch many new concepts for the first time in the area, such as an Ethical Fashion Market, an expo of commissioned Upcycled creations and a panel talk on Fashiontech, Innovation, and Sustainability. When she doesn’t painstakingly advocate on sustainability and conscious living, she is gathering ideas for new collections for her own fashion project, What.Eve.Wears, which focuses on producing ‘innocent’ fashion items or she is contributing articles on fashion and sustainability to various online and print media.
