Après le succès de notre premier concours, nous savions que nous devions recommencer. Cette année, la tâche est la même : utiliser des anciens matériaux – peut-être vos propres vieux vêtements ou des textiles de seconde main – pour créer un tout nouveau look. Plus il y a de matériaux recyclés, mieux c’est !
Les candidatures seront jugées sur la créativité et le design, le niveau de transformation, les compétences techniques et l’utilisation de matériaux recyclés.

Les finalistes seront présentés dans FASHION Magazine et recevront un abonnement d’un an.

Les designers présélectionnés seront informés début mai. Soyez prêt à envoyer rapidement vos soumissions de tenues à notre équipe à Toronto (sans frais pour vous) afin de figurer dans une éventuelle exposition/vidéo/événement. Les looks seront ensuite restitués aux designers.
OUVERT À tout étudiant au Canada qui suit un programme d’études secondaires, postsecondaires ou de formation continue au cours de l’année scolaire 2023-2024. Concours ouvert du 2 mars 2024 au 28 avril 2024 à 23 h 59 HNE. Une entrée par personne. Les candidatures seront jugées sur les critères ci-dessus et le projet gagnant sera annoncé en juin 2024 et contacté par e-mail. Le gagnant recevra un prix en espèces qui sera envoyé par virement électronique après confirmation.

Why #NoMorePolyester?
Phasing out all fossil fuels and transitioning to renewable energy sources is essential to limit global heating to 1.5°C. And as the world’s 4th largest producer of crude oil and 11th largest emitter of greenhouse gases per capita, Canada has a major role to play.
The #NoMorePolyester campaign aims to inform consumer citizens about the connection between crude oil and our closets: a now ubiquitous group of synthetic fabrics that includes polyester. Individually and collectively we must take action to end the exorbitant production and consumption of fossil fuels for fashion.
