Ann Liao (Pei-Yu)

Ann Liao is design thinking facilitator and social entrepreneur working in education and sustainable fashion. Founder and CEO of Tong Yi Xin Design Group, a design group from Taiwan specializing in design thinking, sustainability and applied circularity within business, education and lifestyle.

Tong Yi Xin manages TOTES & TEES (founded in 2013), a design thinking social enterprise and lifestyle brand that merges education, sustainable fashion and social impact. TOTES & TEES, provides design thinking courses, events (workshops) and launching 2019 ‘The Global Collective – By TOTES & TEES’ online design house.

Every product within TOTES & TEES and The Global Collective is made fairly, using sustainable materials, and gives back to education through ‘The Creative Education Alliance’ a fellowship between organisations and businesses within ‘Health, Business and Humanities’ to partner up for the ‘UN Global Goals’ (Quality Education and Climate Action).

[Ann Liao currently resides in Taipei, Taiwan. She has spoken at Fashion Revolution Taiwan, Ivanovo Textile Capital Russia, Shape Fashion Hong Kong and founded ‘The Ethical Fashion Hub Taiwan’ in 2017. Currently teaching sustainable fashion at the XUE XUE institute in Taipei City. Apart from sustainable fashion and education, Ann enjoys exploring and creating art, learning about innovative design materials and traveling internationally to connect with likeminded businesses from around the world. A advocate for plant based food, environmental protection and quality education.
