Emma Wright

Emma is a trained fashion and graphic designer, having studied at both Queensland University of Technology and Shillington College. Emma has worked across many fields in fashion, teaching and design. Starting as a production assistant to a design teacher to t-shirt printer and now working as a graphic designer on the Gold Coast she brings enthusiasm and drive to create change in all she does. Emma sees the value in creating good design to educate and inspire. She is endlessly passionate about fashion as a force for good.

Ryoma Deiss

With a background in the fashion industry and corporate sustainability management, Ryoma combines two of her great interests. As the founder of London-based digital magazine INJECTION Magazine, she has experience in leading an editorial team and dealing with socially and culturally critical issues. She is passionate about combining aesthetics and sustainability. With her experience and motivation, she hopes to actively promote Fashion Revolution and reach a broader mass of people. Her goal is to bring about positive change in the fashion industry through knowledge and enthusiasm.

Beatriz O’Brien Madrid

Multidisciplinary sociologist, educator, and sustainability consultant with over 10 years of experience in the intersection of fashion, social development, and the environment in Chile and Latin America. María Beatriz has led and contributed to national and international initiatives focused on textile sustainability, circular economy, and critical fashion studies, combining academic insight with hands-on project leadership.

She is the Director of Bien Común, a media and consulting platform centered on cultural transformation and sustainable fashion systems, and the founder of Costureras a Toda Máquina, a cooperative that advocates for fair labor and dignified work for home-based seamstresses. As a consultant for the UN (ECLAC/UNECE) and the Ministry of Environment of Chile, she has conducted key research and diagnostics on second-hand clothing trade, circular economy policies, and sustainable production practices.

In the fashion industry, she leads the Básicos Locales program for Paris/Cencosud, creating long-lasting apparel made with native cotton and local labor, and serves as the National Coordinator of Fashion Revolution Chile, where she has directed national campaigns on textile waste and transparency in the fashion supply chain.

Her academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a specialization in fashion and consumption, and she currently teaches courses on identity, critical thinking, and sustainable fashion at UNIACC and other institutions. She is fully bilingual (Spanish/English) and has a strong record in building bridges between research, policy, community-based projects, and industry innovation.

Shruti Singh

Shruti Singh is the India Director at Canopy, an award-winning nonprofit transforming paper, packaging, and textile supply chains to protect forests and climate. A founding member of Fashion Revolution India, she brings over 14 years of experience in sustainable fashion, climate policy, and public advocacy.

She has authored key reports presented at G20 and COP28, is a TEDx speaker, and was recognised among Vogue Business’s 100 global sustainability thought leaders in 2024. Shruti is also a contributing writer for The Voice of Fashion and a UNLEASH changemaker. She holds a degree in Fashion Design from NIFT Delhi and Master’s degrees in Fashion Entrepreneurship and Public Administration.

Fazilat Damani

Fazilat Damani (MLA, MSc, BBA (Hons)) is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in strategic governance, operational excellence, and sustainability. As COO of the NZLA, she drives impactful initiatives that support the global transition to net zero. With a strong background in risk management, financial oversight, and innovation, Fazilat is passionate about fostering meaningful change in the intersection of business, sustainability, and ethics. She is committed to advancing Fashion Revolution’s mission to create a fairer, more sustainable fashion industry.

Rheymarie Teofilo

Rhey is an aspiring accessories designer committed to sustainability in design and aesthetics. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from the Philippines and a master’s in Accessories Design and Management from Florence, Italy. Beyond her work in accessories, she freelances in graphic design, collaborating with NGOs like AfriTalia, the Mandela Institute for Humanity, and Women Against Mutilations in Europe. Currently, she is inspired to support local organizations like Fashion Revolution Philippines, addressing challenges in the fashion industry and promoting sustainability as the future. Through her work, she aims to create meaningful, ethical designs that bridge creativity, advocacy, and innovation.

Leslie Xiomara Larenas Cjuno

Leslie Xiomara Larenas Cjuno, diseñadora de moda, de Mollendo, Arequipa. Directora creativa de su marca CJUNO, se distingue por hacer diseño y arte textil, por el uso de conceptos emocionales, mixtura de color, fusión de texturas e intervenciones, y por tener siluetas fluidas y naturales. También se personifica por trabajar con saldos de fibras naturales y merma de producciones en tela y en algunas ocasiones trabajar con tejedores compartiendo una visión contemporánea. Ganadora de concursos: “Conscience” organizado por la Alianza Francesa de Arequipa, Derecho de Autor por Indecopi, Raíces por Vitrina.pe y Jóvenes Creadores al Mundo por Prom Perú, este último premio me llevó a Francia a estudiar en la escuela Esmod France, donde llevé una pasantía de modelismo y estilismo.

Ida Urmas

Ida Urmas has over a decade of experience in sustainable fashion and design. She has worked in both private and public sectors, developing circular products, services, and educational programmes rooted in circular design and Cradle to Cradle principles. She has also shared her expertise as a guest lecturer at the Estonian Academy of Arts and LAB University in Finland.

Ida is the co-founder of Seams Helsinki, an organisation that brings people together to share skills, repair clothes, and support circular behaviour in fashion. Committed to just transition and fair fashion, she is passionate about making the industry more inclusive, responsible, and sustainable.

Pukhraj Ranjan
Pukhraj Ranjan is an educator, community-builder, and women’s reinvention strategist with over 15 years of international experience supporting women’s leadership, education equity, and sustainable development. She has worked across non-profits, global networks, and her own entrepreneurial ventures, and in 2020, founded Moi Namaste, a conscious lifestyle brand connecting Scandinavian consumers with ethically sourced, artisan-made products from India, creating opportunities for over 500 women artisans.

Though she has since transitioned to building Her Way Home, a global community supporting women through life’s transitions, Pukhraj continues to believe in fashion’s powerful role in honoring women’s work and advancing sustainability. Her journey in sustainable fashion and community-building has shown her that the path to reinvention and growth often begins with honoring the past—and the artisans who shape it.

Kimia Mousavi

Kimia was born on February 6, 2003 with a background in industrial design. Set to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in this major from the Tehran University of Art in 2025, she is already preparing to pursue a master’s degree in Fashion.

From a young age, she was taught to respect the nature and animals, which sparked a deep interest in sustainable fashion practices. This passion has guided her journey into fashion, and for the past three years, she has been training in sewing and clothing design, actively working in the field.

Currently, she is focusing on her personal clothing brand, “Inti Creations”, which is dedicated to promoting sustainability. By using fabric scraps, wastes and surplus materials collected from tailors and workshops, she creates patchwork garments and aim to spread the principles of reusing and upcycling. Kimia has also collaborated with several concept stores in Tehran and participated in various events, showcasing her innovative and eco-conscious approach to fashion.

Looking to the future, she aims to continue working in the field of sustainable fashion and engage in research to further explore and develop eco-friendly practices in the industry.

Bahar Motamedi

Bahar was born on December 3, 2002 in Kazerun, Iran, where she grew up surrounded by a way of life that was naturally more sustainable, long before she encountered the concept in a formal sense. Although she hasn’t yet pursued an academic path due to unforeseen circumstances, her enthusiasm for sustainable fashion has led her to extensive self-study, immersing herself in books, research papers, and learning technical design skills. With a strong foundation in writing, she has also written independent essays on sustainability in fashion, which has sparked her interest in fashion journalism.
Currently, Bahar is expanding her knowledge in project management and content strategy for social media to broaden her impact at Fashion Revolution Iran. She values the team’s collaborative nature, and views her work as a way to contribute to society—particularly the Persian community—by fostering awareness and education on sustainability.
Looking ahead, she hopes to pursue academic studies in sustainable fashion and one day establish her own ethical brand, setting high standards in production and sourcing. She aims to inspire young designers to incorporate sustainability into their work and encourage Persian consumers to make more conscious fashion choices.

Lolo is a communications and campaigns specialist with experience in PR, storytelling, and strategy for NGOs and social impact organisations. She has worked on global initiatives that raise awareness of social and environmental challenges, helping to engage diverse audiences and drive meaningful change. Lolo enjoys finding innovative ways to connect people with important issues. Based in the Netherlands, her approach is rooted in solution-driven narratives, ensuring that communications not only inform but also inspire action.
