UNEP/GRID-Warsaw- Climate Leadership
It is a programme supported by the United Nations Environment Programme, in which a group of independent experts reinforces business efforts on the road to climate neutrality. As the global climate is the most complex natural system, the Programme\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s experts also represent the fields of many branches of knowledge. In this way, it ensures that companies find the right paths for them to reduce their climate and environmental impact.
The Climate Leadership Programme is implemented with the support of the Programme Council (Climate Leadership Council).

16/04/2024 05:00 - 18/04/2024 06:00VIVE Textile Recycling, in cooperation with UNEP/GRID-Warsaw and the Climate Leadership program, organizes a debate with the participation of industry experts "Weaving the Future: Debating Sustainable Fashion and the Challenges of the Textile Industry ".
The idea of the meeting is to exchange experiences and good practices from business that contribute to reducing the amount of textile waste on the market.
The panel will be led by prof. Bolesław Rok, lecturer at the Kozminski University.
The following experts will take part in the debate: Agnieszka Dziedzic, Aleksandra Włodarczyk, Monika Surowiec and Agnieszka Plencler.
Przemysł tekstylny i odzieżowy jest jednym z kluczowych sektorów gospodarki, w którym należy promować nowy model produkcji i konsumpcji w obiegu zamkniętym. Zgodnie z celami ekologicznej transformacji, jedna z wiodących firm na rynku recyklingu- VIVE Textile Recycling, we współpracy z UNEP/GRID-Warszawa i programem Climate Leadership, organizuje debatę z udziałem ekspertów branżowych ,,Tkanie Przyszłości: Debatując o Zrównoważonej Modzie i Wyzwaniach Branży Tekstylnej". Ideą spotkania jest wymiana doświadczeń i dobrych praktyk z biznesu, które przyczyniają się do zmniejszenia ilości odpadu tekstylnego na rynku. Panel poprowadzi prof. Bolesław Rok, wykładowca Akademii Leona Koźmińskiego. W debacie wezmą udział ekspertki: Agnieszka Dziedzic, Aleksandra Włodarczyk, Monika Surowiec oraz Agnieszka Plencler.
