Oh scrap! upcycles fabric scrap collected from garment exporters and tailoring units in the city of Chennai, India. The fabric products designed aim at bringing handmade and high-quality sustainable alternatives to plastic or high intensive less ethical productions. Through its processes and production Oh Scrap! ensures to maintain a low carbon footprint by upcycling, recycling and not using plastic. Additionally, Oh Scrap! encourages and empowers woman from socially and economically deprived background to work providing them with additional skills and financial resources. Co-founders Priyanjoli Basu and Dominique Lopez started Oh Scrap! as a passion project to breathe new life into fabric scrap that has transformed into a line of zero waste products that will add colour and fun to your every day.
