As Country Coordinator of Fashion Revolution Australia, Aya is dedicated to expanding awareness of fashion’s social and environmental impacts, striving for positive change in the process. She is a strong advocate for increased legislation that addresses some of the fashion industry’s most polluting and harmful activities, and believes strongly in the power of community to create change. She is on a mission to prove that fashion can still be enjoyed, only more so when what we wear reflects our values and who we are.

Milly discovered the fashion industry’s impact at a conference on sustainable textiles at the United Nations during her exchange program in NYC. Since then, she has dedicated herself to promoting a responsible fashion industry and embracing a more sustainable lifestyle. Milly has a Master of Environment and Sustainability from Monash University. This interdisciplinary program, underpinned by the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals, equipped her with the knowledge and skills to address complex sustainability challenges. Milly has worked on projects addressing various sustainability issues, and is a passionate advocate for addressing climate change and empowering individuals to be a responsible consumer.

Clare Press is a global expert on sustainable fashion. Her podcast Wardrobe Crisis, based on her 2016 book of the same name, has clocked up 2 million downloads and is now in its 10th series. She also co-hosts the UN’s Ethical Fashion podcast. A former magazine journalist, Clare pioneered the role of sustainability editor at Vogue, and her writing has appeared in the Guardian, Vogue Italia, Business of Fashion and many more. She is the author of Rise & Resist: How to Change the World, and Wear Next - her fourth book. Clare has been a Fashion Revolution ambassador for year

Carol Sae-Yang, a seasoned stylist with 25 years of experience in the fashion industry, has worked with multiple fashion magazines and now focuses on styling private clients. After earning her Master of Design at UNSW, Carol integrated sustainability into her practice, guiding people to make eco-conscious choices at the core of their wardrobes. She champions the belief that understanding one's personal style reduces the need to chase trends and mimic others and ultimately reduces overconsumption. Carol aspires to transform the fashion landscape into a circular one by educating and empowering individuals to make a choice and embrace sustainability with confidence and authenticity.

Kirsten has over 15 years of experience in fashion and textiles design in Sydney, working for iconic brands such as Akira Isogawa, Bonds, and The Social Outfit. She is currently the Fashion & Sustainability Program Coordinator at Collarts in Melbourne, with over 13 years of experience in university fashion education. Kirsten is a founding member of Fashion Revolution Australia and New Zealand and currently holds the position of Education Coordinator. Her mission is to advance fashion design as a force for positive change. Kirsten is passionate about cats, yoga, the beach, BMX, motorbikes, hiking, camping, social justice, intersectional feminism, and plants.

Hazel is a sustainable stylist. Fed up with the fast fashion model and sick of clothing being a commodity, Hazel founded The Curated Wardrobe, where she teaches professional styling techniques that allow participants to buy less and be more intentional, reducing textile waste. Hazel has over 15 years experience in the global events industry and pivoted to work in the sustainable fashion space after experiencing high levels of eco anxiety during the black summer of 2019/2020. Hazel loves a challenge, connecting people and the amazing feeling of finding a new outfit combination from your existing wardrobe.

Erin works in the sustainability sector, helping social enterprises communicate their story. After studying Fashion Design and Technology and working in wholesale clothing for several years, her awareness of the issues in the industry prompted her to learn more. She completed an undergrad in Environment & Society and fostered an appreciation for the complexity of sustainability and systems, including within the fashion sector. Erin is passionate about reducing the impact of the clothing and textile industry. Erin is an amateur darner and avid op shopper.

Molly is a sustainable fashion advocate, content creator, and digital marketer with 7+ years of experience in the sustainability space. With a focus on ethical marketing, Molly runs Perth-based digital marketing studio, Selkie Social, and in her spare time, shares sustainable living tips and advice across social media under her brand Molly Farai. In recent years, Molly has also worked in the non-profit space, co-founding WA Ethical Collective Inc. Molly is deeply passionate about helping her community thoughtfully consider what they produce and consume – online and off – to create a more positive impact on people, other animals, and the planet.
