G’day and welcome! 👋
Fashion Revolution Australia is a volunteer-run group working to create a fashion industry that’s fairer, safer, and more sustainable.
We’re all about making change through education, collaboration, and community action.
Whether it’s asking brands #WhoMadeMyClothes?, or hosting events and conversations, we’re here to advocate for a fashion future that prioritises people and the planet.
Join us in revolutionising fashion for a better, more sustainable future!
We believe in stopping the exploitation of people and the environment in the fashion industry. We advocate for fair treatment and better conditions for everyone involved.
We support safe working environments and awarded living wages for all workers throughout the fashion supply chain.
We are committed to protecting our planet by promoting sustainable and regenerative practices, and conserving resources.
We value transparency and accountability within the fashion industry, supporting open practices and honest operations.
We are dedicated to moving away from a throwaway culture towards a circular economy, where materials are used longer and waste is minimised.
The second edition of What Fuels Fashion? ranks 200 of the world’s largest fashion brands on disclosure of their climate and energy-related policies, practices and impacts in their own operations & supply chains.

How to be a fashion revolutionaryContact your local MP and ask them to help make the fashion industry safer for garment workers and the environment.
How to write a postcard to a policymakerThis Toolkit from World Fair Trade Organisation provides a sustainable alternative to the economic system of profit-primacy, and urges everybody, including fashion enterprises, to think critically about their business practices and operations.
By shifting focus from profit-maximisation to prioritising the well-being of people and planet, as well as critically examining the practices along the supply chain, fashion brands can understand their social and environmental impact, become more transparent and answerable to their customers, and strengthen their commercial resiliency.

Learn more about ClareFashion Revolution was founded by Carry Somers and Orsola de Castro in the wake of the Rana Plaza disaster in 2013. We have grown to become the world’s largest fashion activism movement, mobilising citizens, brands and policymakers through research, education and advocacy.
We are a global movement of people who make the fashion industry work. We are the people who wear clothes. And we are the people who make them.
We are designers, academics, writers, business leaders, policymakers, brands, retailers, marketers, producers, makers, workers and fashion lovers. We are the industry and we are the public. We are world citizens. We are Fashion Revolution.
Learn MoreFashion Revolution started with a hashtag and we are now the largest fashion activism movement, reaching millions worldwide.
We aim to promote cultural, industrial, and political change. We push for greater transparency in the fashion supply chain through policy work, research, campaigning, advocacy, and education.
Regular donations from people just like you help us to take action on transforming the fashion industry for good.
