Cristina, 22, was born and raised in Malta. Following from her Bachelor’s degree in Earth Systems, her path has been one of exploration and saying “yes” to opportunities that align with her passions for environmentalism and community, while still making time for the things she loves: travel, cleanups and festivals. While at University of Malta, Cristina served as the Fashion Revolution Malta Student Ambassador, where she helped raise awareness about sustainable fashion through online content, TV and podcast appearances, and events. While assisting with Fashion Revolution Malta’s #LovedClothesLast by engaging the local community to share their “love stories” with their clothes she also actively fundraised for local Environment NGO Żibel with whom she maintains an active role. More recently she took the role of Communications Officer for a local circular fashion show, Prinjolata. Although Cristina now works primarily in the environment and waste sector, she maintains her involvement in the sustainable fashion sector in Malta.
