We aim for sustainability, transparency, fair living wage and recognize locally produced fashion in our local communities.
We are artists, designers, educators, writers, photographers, workers, students, stylists, advocates and fashion lovers. We are the public, consumers and the industry. We are the citizens of this world. WE ARE YOU!
The Philippines and Fashion 🇵🇭
Our country pioneered the garment and textile industry in the South East Asia which expanded to the world. It started as a cottage industry in the 1950s that grew into a garment and textile industry. When China took over the world’s manufacturing industry it slowly disappeared. Now, the Philippines becomes a South East Asian hub for the discarded and second-hand clothing of imported fashion brands.
Our nation barely recognizes local products and the artisans who made them. The artisans are taken advantage of their skills and creativity with no recognition and unfair wages. The second-hand clothes and cheap brand imitation takes over the market leaving them out of work. At the same time, the improper disposal of these imported brands pollutes our rivers and oceans with micro plastics found in the polyester fabric.
Start a revolution through consumer awareness, promote locally made products and upfront natural environmental friendly clothes. We want to spear forward a responsible, ethical, sustainable, legal, and healthy impact in the social, economical and environmental area.
If you want to be part of this movement, collaborate or receive more information, write to any of our social media networks or send us an email, we would love to hear from you.
