AYTA was born out of our collective years of knowledge and experience in bespoke, slow fashion and the passionate belief in preservation of these skills.
We have an intense desire to give back to our industry- preserving the hand-made heritage passed on to us by skilled craftspeople and promoting sustainable industry practises.
We guide our participants through the hands-on learning process step-by-step. We have a collective experience of 30 years in the fashion education landscape in Australia and building a couture brand in Australia and Paris. The techniques you will learn are based on the culmination of all this knowledge and experience.
In the future we endeavour to assist and complement the institutions that have been the seedbed for talent. Our desire is to empower and promote our local makers, be it by up-skilling students or pattern and dressmakers wanting to refresh their skills. We aim to lead the way in becoming a mentoring hub for sustainable, hand-made and bespoke artisanal skills.
