OPEN-MINDED is an inclusive private association based in Valencia, Spain, active since 2023. We are a community space built on three principles that converge naturally: ethical non-monogamy (ENM), circular recycling, and frugal economy.

We believe the dominant culture wastes everything — clothes, relationships, time, conversations. Our response is exchange. Every Monday we host a clothes-swap flea market where members bring garments they no longer wear and take something else home. Same logic shapes how we gather: reuse over consumption, repair over waste, respect over judgment.

Founded and directed by Grace and JJ. A community of adults living outside the mainstream relational and consumer script — stitched together by the same thread that keeps clothes in circulation.

A community mending session and clothes swap in the reception of OPEN-MINDED, an inclusive private association in central Valencia, Spain.

What to expect: hand-mending only — needles, thread, scraps, scissors. No machines, no teachers. Whoever knows how to mend teaches whoever doesn't. Bring a garment you were about to throw away, or one in good condition to swap — and take another home.

Grace, our president, learnt to mend from her grandmother. She'll teach you if you come.

The exchange is simple: bring a garment in good condition, add it to our circular rack, and pick another one. The same system we run every Monday at our Flea Market Monday — because the most sustainable fabric is the one that already exists.

Free to join. Open to all. No membership required.

Accessibility: Ground floor venue, public toilets nearby, Spanish and English spoken.

Part of Fashion Revolution Week 2026 — Collective Action.
