Leighton Buzzard Mend in Public Day

We will gather together to mend in public, in the market so we can share and learn new skills, chat about our local issues or our lives! and enjoy the company while mending and saving garments from being thrown away. Come and join us to repair your own torn pockets or ripped seams or learn a new mending tecnique (we will have everything you need to do that!).
Mend in public day stands in protest against disposable fashion and fabric waste. By participating you'll be part of a global creative action resisting the cycle of excess through repair and reuse.
All skill levels and fashion revolutionaries are welcome!
