Come mend with us! If you don't know how, don't worry we can show you how. In collaboration with the lush Cowley Community Closet
We have listened to your feedback and we are going to start doing weekend sessions focused on mending. We will have all the things you need to patch and darn your beloved jumper, tee or poor sad overworked sock. No materials are required, you do not even need to bring an item to practise on, as we will be working with the lush Cowley Community Closet.
This session is focused on skill sharing to get everyone mending. With that in mind if you are not sure if something can be repaired feel free to DM us @cardiffsewingsocial or email karinaimsillustration@gmail.com. We will be prepared for basic darning and patching making for visible mending. All our equipment is donated or saved from landfill so we won't always have the perfect material or colour match.
