Stitch Emergencies Sew Calls by Stitch up Studio is a series of 1:1 guided online repair sessions focused on extending the life of garments we already own.
Participants are invited to bring a piece from their wardrobe that feels “almost right” but no longer wearable—whether due to damage, fit, or time.
In a private guided repair 1:1 Stitch Emergencies Sew Call, we bring it back—together. All you need is a simple sewing kit (needle, thread, scissors).
I guide, you stitch—no matter your level.
This event challenges the idea of disposability in fashion and instead focuses on care, continuation, and personal attachment.
No prior sewing experience is required. The sessions are inclusive, practical, and rooted in the belief that keeping clothes in use is one of the most powerful acts of sustainability.
More Information:
Stitch Emergencies Sew Calls is led by a Swedish designer trained in Paris, now based in Toulouse, and part of Stitch up Studio—a practice working at the intersection of craftsmanship, storytelling, and circular fashion.
Each session is a one-hour live intervention where participants repair, adjust, or rethink their garments in real time using a basic sewing kit. In some cases, additional materials may be recommended in advance.
Booking is available via Substack subscription, giving access to session releases and time slots.
Stay as long as it fits. Leave whenever it doesn’t.
We fix. We rethink. We repurpose.
Because clothes aren’t disposable.
They’re stories.
What was paused becomes wearable again.
