Do you have some items that are in need of repair yet you are tempted to just donate them?
Join us for this mending workshop and save your clothes from ending up in landfills that are polluting The Global South!
After a short video from the OR Foundation and a discussion on textile waste with Remake Ambassador and Host Amy Auerbach, we will learn some ways to keep your clothes in use longer and out of landfills with Special Guest Audrey Danser from @a_thrifted _wardrobe and @SalvageStudioSF.

You will learn three easy ways to Be-A-Wear and Repair-
1. Hand sewing buttons = loose or missing buttons or snaps can be hand sewn easily or hide a stain with an artfully placed button.
2. Sew it back to life = have things that are coming undone at the hem? Learn some quick stitches to solve that in a jiffy!
3. Patch it = Holes got you down? Cover them up with fabric scraps and some simple hand stitches.
