Fashion Revolution Night

April 24 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm Free

On 24 April 2013, the Rana Plaza clothing factory in Bangladesh collapsed. 1,138 workers died and another 2,500 were injured, making it the fourth largest industrial disaster in history.

Fashion Revolution Week is a global initiative raising awareness about the social and environmental impacts of the fashion industry. It’s time to change the way we think about the clothes that we wear.

Join us at Impact Hub Bergen for a film screening of the award-winning short documentary “Unravel” followed by a panel discussion with sustainable fashion entrepreneurs from Bergen:

– Kristin Grostad, founder of clothes swapping app Swancy (swancyapp.com)
– Monica Langeland, co-owner of ethical and ecological online retailer Grønt Skift (www.grontskift.no)

There will some fun extras including a clothes swap rail (bring max. 3 pieces of clothing in good condition you would like to swap) and a #whomademyclothes photo booth.

This event is open to everyone interested in sustainable fashion.
