Allie Gardner is a public anthropologist whose work and research has focused on the intersection between fashion and human rights. Currently, she serves as the Special Projects Manager at Free the Slaves, an international anti-slavery organization based in Washington, DC. In this role, Allie manages the annual Fashion for Freedom Campaign, as well as the Freedom from Slavery Forum. She holds a Master of Arts in Public Anthropology from American University, as well as a dual Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Spanish Studies from American University. Allie is passionate about building partnerships between and within the fields of anti-slavery, labor rights, and ethical fashion.
