In the course of the Fashion Revolution Week 2021, we as the Chair of Textile Technologies at Chemnitz University of Technology have prepared the following actions. Our focus is on regional textile production, which is still and again possible in Saxony.
Our actions:
The whole week: Together with companies active in the field of fashion, we want to draw attention to the fact that, among other things, textile production under safe working conditions is possible also regionally.
April 20, 2021: We want to invite people to participate in an Online-Repair Café to give tips and tricks on how to breathe new life into damaged clothing.
April 22, 2021: At the digital panel discussion \"Clothing from the region - does it exist? does it work?\" our guests from local textile production will be able to provide exciting insights. Among other things, it is about the motivation to produce at the chosen location.
The whole week: Shop window exhibition of FEMNET in cooperation with selected localities in Chemnitz on the theme \"I make your clothes\".
